What will the class cover?
- Basic safety procedures
- Basic technique and aiming
- Most importantly how to properly handle a bow, so that you can let your first arrow fly with confidence and success!
Outcomes
- You will have a basic understand of Archery, including safety, how to shoot a bow and understanding of the enjoyment in shooting an arrow that hits the centre.
- You will receive at the completion of the session a booklet on Archery, information on how you can progress and a certificate of completion.
What will the class cover?
- Age Requirement: 8 years of age or older
- People with a Disability: Welcome
- Equipment: Provided
- Time Commitment: 1 to 1.5 hours
- Prerequisite: None
- Arrival: Prefer you arrive 10-15 minutes early
- Cancellations: We have a 24 hr cancellation/rescheduling policy. If a class is missed, cancelled or changed with less than 24 hrs notice, a $5 per person fee will apply
- Weather Policy: As this is an outdoor venue we strictly adhere to Archery Australia’s weather policy – Heat over 38O or winds gusting to 40kms per hour the activity will be postponed and rescheduled
