Personal Coaching is an individual “One on One” Coaching session.
What will the session/s cover?
- A lot of what is covered in the Advanced Archery 102 session but private and personal.
- Technique analysis, including video analysis.
- Equipment tuning and set-up, including
- Recurve, brace height, tiller, nocking point, arrow fit (on string), arrow rest placement, centreshot, bow sight set-up and more.
- Compound, cam timing, nocking point, arrow tuning, nocking point and loop, arrow fit (on string), arrow rest placement, centreshot, peep sight adjustment,
- Shot execution analysis
- Recurve, release and clicker execution
- Compound, release execution
- Setting up a Daily Training Plan, Archery specific and non-Archery specific training programs
Outcomes
- Biomechanical correct technique with a knowledge of your individual technique.
- Correctly set up equipment but most importantly the skills to identify and correct equipment faults.
- Ability to confidently shoot Recurve up to 70m and Compound 50m.
- Raise you current Archery Australia Rating
- Identify you training and fitness needs and implement a personal Daily Training Plan
Session Information
- Age Requirement: 10 years of age or older
- Participate Limits: Each session is limited to 1 person with total “one on One” analysis and coaching.
- Equipment: You must provide your own equipment.
- Time Commitment: You can have a single session or multiple sessions; each session will be between 1 to 2 hours.
- Prerequisite: Must be an Archery Australia member.
- Arrival: Prefer you arrive 10-15 minutes early
- Cancellations: We have a 24 hr cancellation/rescheduling policy. If a class is missed, cancelled or changed with less than 24 hrs notice, a $10 per person fee will apply.
- Weather Policy: As this is an outdoor venue we strictly adhere to Archery Australia’s weather policy – Heat over 38O or winds gusting to 40kms per hour the activity will be postponed and rescheduled.
